DBR - Have you read the latest edition?
Our new DBR was sent out a few weeks ago, along with a list of all recipients for branches to follow up.

We encourage you to read the Marketing Toolkit on how to make the DBR work for you - click here to view

There are a number of ways to interact with your clients using the DBR, such as marking an article that may be of interest to them and either mailing it (with a follow up phone call to see what they thought), or taking it out to them unannounced or on a C&I.
DBR Feedback
Marketing has also sent out a DBR feedback survey to all recipients, to understand what they enjoy or would change about the magazine, and also what topics are of interest to them.

This will assist in making the DBR even more engaging for our readers. The results of this survey can be viewed here.

As you can see, 100% of the respondents say that the DBR articles are relevant to them, and well over half of respondents read more than 50% of the magazine. This also gives the market greater exposure to our solutions, so let’s keep spreading the word!

Easter Campaign
Our NeedATemp site is up and running with our Easter campaign, and is getting a significant amount of traffic as a result of our Google Adwords campaign. Almost double the traffic we were receiving just a few months ago!

Emma had ‘With Compliments’ stickers sent out to all branches who requested them, so that they could purchase Easter eggs, or any other gift for their clients/candidates, locally to save money. At 30 cents for each sticker, these are a very good deal!

They can also be used all year round for any gifts you wish to give, and are available through our warehouse – https://www.waivenet.com.au/logon.aspx

Huntel Global

Drake’s newest acquisition, Huntel Global, specialises in permanent recruitment of Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data-Warehousing candidates (to name a few).

Chami Akmeemana is the Managing Director, based in Melbourne with Shashi Nellutla, as well as Steve Fisher and Breeda Roshini based in Sydney.

The Marketing team is currently working on updating their website www.huntelglobal.com and have already included a page about Huntel on the Drake website.

We will then send out a press release about this acquisition to get more exposure! Stay tuned!

Surveys
The next Marketing national survey is due to be launched at the end of April. This will be on the subject of recruitment companies – and seeing how we all stack up.

Titled ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Recruitment Companies’, we are asking respondents across the country to give us insight into their thoughts and experiences when it comes to us and our fellow recruitment competitors.

This is excellent market research for us, and could give us great tips on how to improve our service, as well as giving us material for media exposure!

Update from Medox Marketing
Marketing is currently reviewing partnerships with 457 visa provider companies so that we can bring overseas nurses into Australia to meet the demand.

This could also translate to bringing in skilled labour from overseas to fill other roles across the Drake business!

Very exciting opportunities here, we will keep you updated!

AHRI Forum Supporters
Great news for us all! AHRI (Australian HR Institute) is the largest HR association in Australia, and we are working closely with them!

Marketing has negotiated with AHRI to host some of their networking events with their members in our offices in Sydney and Melbourne. There will be a few events each year, and this is a great opportunity for us to have Drake staff network with AHRI members (our target market!), give them our collateral, show them our fabulous offices and meet our amazing staff!

If we do this well, we could potentially host more events for AHRI across the country.

The best part is – it is FREE!!

Job Boards
You would have seen the announcement last week, but we are pleased to be working with MyCareer as our second job board on a 3 month trial.

We still work with Seek as well.

The cost savings for MyCareer in comparison to CareerOne are very high – cutting our monthly expenditure in half from $8000/month with CareerOne to $4000 with MyCareer!

In addition, we also have a ‘ticking banner’ at the bottom of our slider on the home page of the Drake website, which lists all new jobs as they are posted to our Drake job board. This creates more exposure for all of our job ads!

And last but not least, we wish you and
your families a very happy and safe Easter!
